The American Immigration Council would like to thank everyone who made our

16th Annual Washington, DC Immigrant Achievement Awards

on April 7th a BIG success!

We were honored to award Senator Dan Inouye, University of Maryland President Wallace Loh, Author/Activist Loung Ung and Youth Activist Jonathan Jayes Green.

WUSA9's Surae Chinn served as a wonderful and graceful Master of Ceremonies.

All of our honoree's speeches were enlightening and inspiring.

We are already looking forward to next year and hope you will join usfor another exciting event!

P.S.  Don't forget about the American Immigration Council's

Annual Benefit: American Heritage Awards on June 17, 2011 in San Diego.

Our appreciation to Mary Kate McKenna Photography for the beautiful pictures.
