Maryssa Hall

Strategic Projects Manager

Maryssa Hall is the Strategic Projects Manager at the American Immigration Council. She leads the strategic planning, design, development of protocols, and launch of new initiatives and special projects intended to further the Council’s strategic plan. Additionally, she manages the Council’s work to advance its commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equity. Before joining the Council, Maryssa was the Fellowship Program Manager of Young People For (YP4), where she recruited and trained young people across the nation aged 18-35 in strengthening their leadership skills and operationalizing their social justice work in their communities. Originally from the Bay Area, she earned her B.A. in Afro-American Studies and Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles. While at UCLA, Maryssa was elected External Vice President and was involved in a number of progressive student organizations that focus on increasing access and retention of students of color at institutions of higher learning and addressing inequities in our local and global community.
